BCD Repair

BCD Diagnostics $25

  1. Inflator / alternate air source is inspected for functionality.
  2. Dump valves are cleaned.
  3. BCD is leak tested and must hold air for 30 minutes.

*BCDs which undergo a diagnostic maintain their factory warranty if they were covered when turned in.

**To maintain the manufacturer’s warranty the manufacturer’s paperwork must be turned in at the time of drop off.

***BCD which fail to meet criteria for diagnostic will be overhauled.

BCD Check & Inflator Overhaul (Yearly)

  1. BCD is air tested & inflator / alternate air source is inspected.
  2. All dump valves are inspected and cleaned
  3. Inflator / alternate air source is disassembled and all parts are cleaned in an ultrasonic machine.
  4. BCD air bladder is drained and cleaned.
  5. Inflator / alternate air source is reassembled with manufacturer parts.
  6. BCD is inflated and air tested for leaks and must hold air for 30 minutes.
  7. Zippers, buckles,seams, and stitching are inspected for damage and wear.

  • BCD w/ alternate air source: $50 + Parts
