In the 1950s, despite the growing interest in diving, there was nowhere in Seattle to get dive gear or training. Divers had to rely on mail order catalogs for all their gear. Local skin-diving legend Gary Keffler decided to fill this need and turned his love of diving into a Seattle institution; Underwater Sports. Gary built a one-stop shop were divers could go for equipment, training, and underwater adventure.

History

Today, Underwater Sports continues to provide phenomenal dive training and products to clients worldwide including; first responders such as local Police, Fire Departments and Harbor Patrol.
